Summary:
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a key role in assuring the reliability, performance, and usability of AI-driven solutions and enterprise platforms. This position focuses on designing and carrying out comprehensive test strategies across multiple layers of the system, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous quality improvement.
Position Overview:
The role is responsible for defining and driving testing approaches for AI-powered solutions and containerized platforms, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and overall usability. This position works closely with software engineering, AI, and DevOps teams to ensure solutions meet high-quality standards, regulatory expectations, and meet evolving project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement end-to-end test plans covering functional, system, integration, regression, and performance scenarios for AI-powered and enterprise applications.
Establish and assess clear acceptance standards for AI-based processes, including orchestrated and multi-agent workflows.
Verify essential application capabilities and ensure seamless interaction with enterprise data platforms and services.
Carry out full-cycle, integration, and regression testing to maintain platform reliability following new features and releases.
Evaluate application scalability, stability and responsiveness through performance and stress testing in containerized environments, including Kubernetes platforms like AKS and OpenShift.
Create, enhance, and support automated testing solutions using frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, or comparable tools.
Capture, prioritize, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle using tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Work collaboratively with software engineers, AI specialists, and DevOps teams to investigate issues and confirm effective remediation.
Review user interfaces and workflows to ensure consistency, usability, and an intuitive experience for both internal and external audiences, coordinating with design and product teams as needed.
Ensure solutions align with established AI governance and compliance requirements including data privacy, transparency.
Skills Required:
Strong experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Pytest.
Experience in testing APIs, backend services, and enterprise system integrations.
Familiarity with cloud-native environments, including Kubernetes, AKS, and OpenShift.
Solid understanding of defect lifecycle management using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
Minimum 1 year of experience in automation tools such as Selenium and Pytest
Experience testing complex, distributed, or AI-enabled systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have:
Experience in testing AI/ML models, workflows, or multi-agent systems.
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Understanding AI governance, ethical AI principles, and compliance frameworks.
Experience working on enterprise-scale or customer-facing applications.

Additional Details :
Work Location (Bangalore/Coimbatore) : This role will require working from the office (WFO) for the first 12 months. Based on individual performance and business requirements, a remote or hybrid work option may be considered after one year.
