1. Tolerance
The software takes into account the vibrations, lighting changes and minor disturbances on the production line while reading and calibrating the gauges
2. Robustness
The software automatically corrects for shifts and rotations in the image (vibration-induced or otherwise) as well as for image size variations due to camera movements towards or away from the meter
3. Extensibility
The image analysis algorithms have been designed to handle a wide variety of gauges differing in color, shape, background etc.
4. Flexibility
The software provides the option to choose between the algorithms, based on the need for accuracy
