Soliton Neo is a standalone DSP-based smart camera. Smart cameras are compact systems that do not require a PC for operation. Powered by the high-speed algorithms of the Soliton Vision Library (SVL) and the easy GUI of Soliton Vision Artist (SVA), this low-cost industrial smart camera is designed to enable you to really achieve 'zero defects' by the automation of online visual inspection, quality inspection of production and assembly lines, and machine vision based poka-yoke.

The Soliton Neo is a complete vision system, with built-in camera, powerful DSP processor, integrated LED lights, optics and various industry standard interfaces for control. Connect the smart camera to a laptop computer (or a remote PC) via Ethernet, and using the interactive interface simply drag and drop steps from the given list of image acquisition, image processing, and control action steps, to setup your vision based inspection system in no time. After programming, the Laptop / PC can be disconnected from Neo and it runs in stand alone mode.
